Arshad Hussain popularly acknowledge more than 3 decades as the "Event Guru" can be defined as the "Man of Event Management" with extensive experience of more than decades in the field. He has been enlightening and presenting lectures to the students who are continuing to carry the legacy ahead. He is considering who has started event management industry in rajasthan way back in 1990.
30 Year Working Experience
Born and brougth up in Jaipur, Rajasthan to Mohammad Hussain a government employee, and Nishat Hussain, a social worker. Parents perpetually belived in their son and knew that he would become successful one fine day. He completed his schooling from Mahaveer School and graduated from Lal Bahadur Shastri College, Jaipur. Initially, he worked in the Middle East for a couple of years, thought his heart was forever in India, so he decided to go back to his motherland to start up his own event management company, 'NEXZEN' (https://www.nexzenevents.com) in Jaipur.
Facts
He gave a kick start to his career in event management by planning a beauty pageant in 1991, followed by a rock show "Rock92" in 1992, which he believed was a turning point in his career.
A highly respected entrepreneur, who came into the industry of event management decades before, During the '90s, when the industry of event management in Rajasthan was still uncovered. From that day till now, he has worked tremendously in the field of events. He brought up some revolutionary concepts during that time, and his dedication and passion marked his presence of excellence in India.
Aside from event management, Arshad is remarkably passionate about writing and has authored several articles that have been published in national dailies. He is an impeccable orator, also one of his hidden abilities is poetry, and he was fortunate enough to find another poetry admirer Chitra S. Hussain as a lifelong companion.
Professional Experience
He also served as a freelance journalist for many media organizations. He began working for Doordarshan in 1999 as a newscaster and did many programs, including DD News, Sharmik Jagat, Aas Paas, and Bazme Adab.
Arshad, an articulate rhetorician, has also delivered live news and hosted talk shows on Doordarshan and distinct channels. Arshad Hussain is one of the founder members of the Federation of the Rajasthan Event Managers (FOREM) and Rajasthan Event Managers Association (REMA).
He was the one of the founder secretary and 1st elected president of FOREM.He is the Patron for Miss Rajasthan and Mrs Rajasthan, Expert Advisor at Jaipur Marathon and Mentor at the Indian Institute of Event Management and Research.Event Guru Arshad is the global conve of Event Manager`s Day, which is observed in more than 50 countries.
Arshad has been felicitated and earned many awards, like an award from the CM on Rajasthan Divas, Millennium Excellence Awards 2018, Rajasthan Gaurav, Shaan e Rajasthan, Outstanding Businessperson of the Year, Jaipur Ratan, Vivekanand Yuva Sammaman, Jan Kalyaan Charitable Trust Award, Delhi, Sanskriti Award.He is considered to be the most influential event professional, globally from India with multiple connections worldwide.
